The Megger MRCT Relay and Current Transformer Tester is a versatile and portable unit designed for comprehensive testing of current transformers (CTs). The Megger MRCT standout feature is its ability to automatically calculate ratio errors, saturation curves, and knee points, streamlining the testing process and increasing productivity.
The Megger MRCT can be controlled via the user-friendly Smart Touch View Interface (STVI) controller or a laptop using Megger's PowerDB software. The MRCT allows testing of CTs in various configurations, even while they are installed in transformers, oil circuit breakers, or switchgear. It offers an extensive range of features, including saturation curve plotting, ratio testing, winding resistance measurement, demagnetization, CT burden measurement, insulation resistance testing, data storage, and printing.
