DC Electronic Loads, up to 3kW

Almost all modern electronic equipment have a built in power supply. Therefore, a DC electronic load is an important instrument for these devices during the R/D and Q/A phases. Transcat Axiom Rentals offers DC electronic loads for a variety of test applications. Whether testing linear or non-linear loads, single output or multi-output power sources, we have the right DC electronic load for your test. DC electronic loads up to 3kW are used for testing for DC power sources, DC-DC converters, batteries, LED drivers, fuel cells and solar cells. DC electronic loads in this category are capable of up to 600V, 600A and a total power factor of up to 3kW.

Modular DC Electronic loads consist of a chassis and modules, and are designed for dynamic loads. These are best suited for the testing of multi-output AC/DC power supplies, charger and power electronic components. Modern electronic devices operate at very high speeds and require fast dynamic operation of their power providing components. DC electronic loads up to 3kW are designed for lower voltage, higher speed testing to meet this demand.

When selecting a DC load, it is important to consider not only voltage and current requirements, but also power ratings. An account manager can help you determine which DC Electronic load is best suited to your test.
