Designed to feed power from the device under test (DUT) back into the utility grid, this two-quadrant power supply is ideal for renewable energy applications such as solar PV/storage hybrid inverters, battery power conditioning systems (PCS), and simulating battery charge/discharge cycles. The CHROMA 62450D-2000HL Programmable, Bidirectional DC Power Supply is suited for testing power components in electric vehicles (EVs), including bidirectional on-board chargers (BOBC), DC-DC converters, and DC-AC motor drivers allowing bi-directional power conversion simulations without needing physical batteries.
The CHROMA 62450D-2000HL Programmable, Bidirectional DC Power Supply features a dual-range output, delivering both high (2000V / 60A / 45kW) and low (650V / 180A / 45kW) configurations from a single unit. This versatility supports high-current and high-voltage full-power testing, covering a wide range of applications such as 400V and 800V EV battery platforms and EV supply equipment (EVSE). For flexible integration, the CHROMA 62450D-2000HL Programmable, Bidirectional DC Power Supply supports multiple control interfaces, including USB, LAN, CAN, GPIB, and analog (APG), with CAN FD available on 2000V models. It also features List Mode programming, allowing up to 100 custom test sequences for automated and repeatable testing scenarios.
