The Keysight N7020A Power Rail Probe is a precision tool tailored for power integrity measurements, offering mV sensitivity for the accurate analysis of noise, ripple, and transients on DC power rails. It is specifically designed to address the requirements of modern products with tighter tolerances on their DC power rails. This probe enables users to evaluate periodic and random disturbances, static and dynamic load responses, programmable power rail behavior, and similar power integrity aspects.
The Keysight N7020A Power Rail Probe is compatible with Keysight InfiniiVision 3000T and 4000 X-Series oscilloscopes, InfiniiVision 6000 X-Series oscilloscopes (post-Feb 1, 2016 models), Infiniium S-Series DSO and MSO high-definition oscilloscopes, and Infiniium 9000 Series DSO and MSO oscilloscopes running software revision 5.20 or newer. The N7020A features a 1:1 attenuation ratio with minimal noise addition, a broad +/-24 V offset range for signal centering, low DC loading to avoid significant load on DC power rails, and a wide active signal range of +/-850 mV. Its 2-GHz bandwidth makes it a valuable tool for detecting high-speed transients that could impact clocks and digital data.
