The Associated Research 7705 HypotMAX goes beyond the voltage of a standard hipot test to determine the dielectric withstand properties of your insulator. The AC Hipot Test allows you to stress your product’s insulation with high voltage to ensure it will limit current flow should a fault occur. The Associated Research 7705 provides maximum operator protection by detecting excessive current leakage in the event a DUT is isolated from ground, instantly saving the test operator should he or she come into contact with high voltage.

The patented SmartGFI feature is standard on the Associated Research 7705 for maximum operator safety as well as a variety of advanced features to increase productivity on the production line and in the lab. Set up and run tests with confi dence from our intuitive user interface or automate with a PC. The instrument can store 50 individual memories that may be performed individually or connected for a 50-step test. A digitally controlled arc detection system allows the operator to choose whether low-level arcs should be detected. The operator can select from multiple sensitivity levels.
