The Pacific Power Source 320-ASX AC Power Source is conservatively designed and rated with output power based on the most severe combination of input line, output voltage, power factor and temperature. This approach to this product design allows the 320-ASX Power source to excel when delivering the precision power demanded in the AC test environment. Great emphasis has been placed on low acoustic noise, ease of installation and maximum power per cubic inch of rack space. 

The Pacific Power Source 320-ASX PWM AC Power Sources are known for their impressive attributes, including excellent power density and high efficiency, making them particularly adept at handling low-power factor loads. They exhibit moderately low output distortion and are capable of delivering the full current even to extremely low power factor reactive loads. These sources maintain their full current capacity across the entire voltage spectrum, without requiring derating at low voltage levels. Thanks to their higher amplification efficiencies, they offer reduced weight and size compared to other sources. Moreover, their operational temperature remains lower due to their enhanced amplifier efficiencies. However, their capacity to replicate intricate transient waveforms is somewhat limited.
