Product Overview

The Bird 4421 RF Power Meter is ideal for general purpose laboratory applications where high accuracy is required, but also in semiconductor processing applications.

Features and Specifications of the Bird 4421 Power Meter include:

• ±1% Accuracy — Accomplished through the use of an automatic frequency compensation scheme, where the error contributions due to directional coupler frequency response characteristics are eliminated.
• Wide Dynamic Range — The instrument will meet the full accuracy specification over a 35 dB dynamic range.
• Excellent Measurement Repeatability — Typically <0.1%
• Digital Display — Along with automatic VSWR calculation.
• GPIB and RS-232 Interfaces
• Functions: Forward Power in watts or dBm, Reflected power in watts or dBm, VSWR, Return loss in dB, Minimum and Maximum value of any parameter on display
• Display: 3½ digit liquid crystal display with annunciator for mode, measurement units, battery condition, programming status, and trend arrows.  Switchable backlight
• Power Range: 100mW - 10kW FS
• VSWR Range: 1.0 - 199.9
• Ranging: selectable manual or autoranging.  Power sensor dependent
• Overrange Indication: audible warning when RF power input exceeds 120 percent of sensor's maximum power range
