    The Megger SPI500 Smart Primary Injection Test System delivers high-current testing capabilities for substation applications, including electronic reclosers, circuit breakers, high-speed fuses, and ground fault relays.  Its unique control system dynamically adjusts the output to maintain constant current, even as load impedance changes during testing. All SPI systems support both automated and manual operation, with the Smart Touch View Interface (STVI) providing intuitive manual control and automated test sequencing. The Megger SPI500 Smart Primary Injection Test System can also be PC-controlled for fully automated testing and report generation. 

    The Megger SPI500 Smart Primary Injection Test System excels in both high-current commissioning tests and testing of low-voltage molded-case circuit breakers. A single SPI500 unit provides up to 2500 A, with the option to connect up to two SPI500B boosters—expanding output to 5000 A with one booster and up to 6500 A with two. The SPI500's sub-cycle response time and continuous feedback ensure stable output and accurate testing, automatically compensating for test sample heating and changing load conditions. This makes it a powerful, flexible tool for ensuring reliability and performance in a wide range of protective and switching devices.
