The PIE 434 High Accuracy Automated 4-20mA Diagnostic Calibrator is designed to maintain and troubleshoot current loop system used in process control applications. It functions as a power source for 2-wire transmitters, enabling simultaneous power and signal reading for comprehensive testing. PIE 434 quickly diagnose ground fault and current leakage with the patented loop diagnostic technology. PIE 434 High Accuracy Automated 4-20mA Diagnostic Calibrator also feature automatic output stepping and ramping. Press and hold the dial to automatically step from 4-20 in two, three or five steps or choose a continuous ramp.
PIE 434 High Accuracy Automated 4-20mA Diagnostic Calibrator can Calibrate recorders, digital indicators, stroke valves or any instruments that get their input from a 4 to 20 mA loop. Easily one can set any value quickly to within 0.001 mA with the adjustable digital potentiometer “DIAL” or use preset 4.000 mA (0.00%) and 20.000 mA (100.00%) EZ-CHECK settings. The PIECAL 434 measures milliamp signals with greater accuracy than a typical multimeter. It features a large, backlit display with clear digits for comfortable viewing in various light conditions. PIE 434 High Accuracy Automated 4-20mA Diagnostic Calibrator is having a built-in menu-selectable 250-ohm resistor, allowing compatibility with HART communication protocol commonly used in process automation.
