The Agilent / HP 11729C Carrier Noise Test Set is an integral part of an Agilent phase noise measurement system. The Agilent / HP 11729C Noise Test Set can perform the following operations: up converts an external (or internal) reference signal, down converts the signal under test to an intermediate frequency (IF). The phase demodulates phase noise of the test signal using the Phase Detector Method; frequency demodulates the phase noise of the test signal using the Frequency Discriminator Method.
