   The Rohde & Schwarz BBA300-DE180 Broadband Amplifier is a new generation of highly compact solid-state broadband amplifiers designed for high availability. They feature extremely wide, continuous frequency bands extending up into the high microwave range, along with high linearity, outstanding noise power density and excellent harmonic characteristics. They also boast high system configuration and operational settings flexibility. The Rohde & Schwarz BBA300-CDE180 Broadband Amplifier is ideal for critical test environments such as EMC, product validation and OTA coexistence testing as well as for RF component testing in the frequency range from 380 MHz to 18 GHz for RF output power of up to 300 W P1dB.

   The Rohde & Schwarz BBA300-CDE180 Broadband Amplifier maintains full RF forward output power under demanding load conditions with 100% mismatch protection up to a VSWR of 6:1. It supports a wide array of modulation formats—including AM, FM, PM, φM, pulse, and OFDM making it well suited for varied signal environments. In addition, the Rohde & Schwarz BBA300-CDE180 Broadband Amplifier offers gain adjustment and bias tuning between Class A and Class AB, allowing users to optimize for either maximum linearity or high saturation power, including up to 75 W in high-power mode with the optional PK1 tuning package. These features—alongside compact, rack-mountable design and robust control options—make it a flexible, high-availability tool for demanding EMC and OTA coexistence.
