Product Overview

The EMC Partner TRA2000 Transient Test System offers full compliance CE Mark and ANSI transient test solutions. A choice of 4kV or 6kV SURGE generators with Combination, 100 kHz Ring, and 10/700 waves plus your choice of ESD, EFT, and voltage DIPS and Interrupts as needed. Integrated, automated, single phase CDN. Automated three phase CDN available. Economical manual three phase CDN also available. Easy to use front panel automation with 15 non-volatile network locations. GENECS software with log file reporting is included with every TRA2000. Comprehensive reporting with output as HTML file with optional Windows based TEMA software. Front panel mounted impulse monitor, scope trigger, and EUT mains voltage and current monitor ports.

The EMC Partner TRA2000 offers FULL COMPLIANCE with each basic standard. Selection of a multifunction transient generator is similar to purchasing each tester individually. The performance of each circuit, EFT, SURGE, DIPS, and ESD (if so equipped) meets and exceeds the full requirements of each associated Basic Standard, IEC 61000-4-4, -5, -11, & -2. Accessories for Magnetic Field testing per IEC 61000-4-8, -9, and -10 are available. We provide the best technology available to ensure you obtain the best possible performance, reliability, and full compliance with the Basic Standards.

Patented solid state high voltage switching for SURGE and EFT generators ensures clean, repeatable waveforms and phase angle synchronization, pulse after pulse, year after year. These switches have over 9 years of service in various products without a single field failure or degradation of performance.

The TRA2000 fulfills the requirements and intent of IEC61000-4-11 with its fully integrated electronically controlled, motor driven variac combined with electronic switching. This arrangement is specified in Appendix C of IEC 61000-4-11.

The TRA2000 CE Mark Transient Test Station is available with Any or All: 4kV SURGE - Combination Wave 1.2/50 4kV, 8/20 2kA EFT Burst to 4.4 kV, 1MHz spike repetition rate DIPS & Interrupts to 16 Amps Variations to 6 Amps (16 Amps with external variac) ESD to 16kV air and 10kV contact discharge Magnetic Field Tests.
