Aeroflex (IFR / Marconi ) 2025 Signal Generator, 9 kHz - 2.51 GHz
The Aeroflex / Marconi / IFR 2025 Signal Generator is a lightweight and portable unit suitable for a wide range of applications in lab, production, service and maintenance environments. The GPIB interface also makes the IFR 2025 a good candidate for ATE applications.
Measurement of receiver selectivity and ultimate signal to noise ratio requires good spectral purity. The Aeroflex 2025 has a low residual FM of typically 3 Hz and a commendable sideband noise of typically -121 dBc/Hz at 1 GHz, (20 kHz offset) to allow demanding measurements to be made at an affordable cost. Good close in phase noise is also achieved with results at 100 Hz offsets typically <- 85 dBc.
